Like a lot of people, I got curious about crypto after COVID. I got into it through a DeFi bootcamp called SheFi in 2022. It started as a hobby, and eventually I got the chance to work on a really successful project with an international team.
One of those projects was Milady Colombia, an ERC-721 collection with a minting platform. It sold out and did around 241 ETH in trading volume. I handled operations, working with a marketer and an engineer.
I was in Tokyo for Pragma Tokyo when we launched. A mint has a hard deadline. The contract goes live at a specific time and everything has to be ready before that. Most of the team was in different time zones, so a lot of it was just knowing who was awake and who needed to do what.
I have run trade show booths that took six months to plan, and I have worked on launches where everything came down to one hour. I learned more from the one-hour launch.
