I went to Mexico City with my sister, mostly to see Parque Quetzalcóatl.
Javier Senosiain builds without straight lines. The whole park is curved and grown into the hillside, and you walk through it rather than look at it. I admire that kind of work: it takes an enormous amount of planning to end up with something that reads as effortless.
The photo is the serpent's head from across the garden.
The other stop was Hugo, the wine bar in Roma. It is my favorite place in the city and I go back every time.
