Korea, 2025

We spent September in Seoul. We rented hanbok for a day at Gyeongbokgung Palace, and walking those courtyards in a full skirt changes how you move through them.

The rest of the trip was about noticing small things, like the way market vendors stack fruit and how much good food hides in basement food halls. The photo and the koi video on my homepage are both from the same pond. I stood there long enough that my travel companions left and came back with snacks.

I also found a shop selling mini bouquets the size of my palm. Cutest thing I saw all trip.

The Olive Youngs and the barbecue alone are worth the flight.
