I spent ten days in Tokyo in March for Pragma Tokyo. The Imperial Palace was the highlight of the trip. There is so much quiet in the middle of the biggest city in the world.
Haneda Airport was the other highlight. I have run enough events to know how hard smooth logistics are, and that airport makes it look easy. The ramen was perfect, the shopping was perfect, and at 5'1" I fit right in.
The photo is me in front of a ward election poster board, which I still think about when I design anything. There was also a tiny flower shop near the hotel that sold exactly eleven stems, each one perfect.
