glasstec is the biggest glass industry fair in the world, and for one week in October it takes over Düsseldorf. I ran our presence there. Freight arrived on pallets, the build crew spoke three languages, and the punch list reset itself every morning.
There is a specific feeling when the crates disappear, the lights come on, and the booth you have stared at in renderings for months becomes a real room with people in it. This photo is from that morning.
I also learned that German trade fairs run exactly on time and expect you to do the same.
